Student Welfare Services

The Student Welfare Administration provides the following services:

  1. Student Activities:
    Supporting and organizing student activities through the budgets allocated by the University to Student Welfare Administrations and Student Union funds.
  2. Financial and In-Kind Assistance:
    Providing financial and in-kind assistance through the Social Solidarity Fund and other entities authorized by the University.
  3. Student Support and Guidance:
    Helping students address their problems and develop their ability to deal with them independently through the support of professionally and academically qualified specialists.
  4. Meal Services:
    Arranging and booking external meal services for students.

Professional Principles

The Student Welfare Administration at the Faculty carries out its role in accordance with the following professional principles:

  • Equal and non-discriminatory access: All students are accepted and supported regardless of gender, religion, or nationality.
  • Student self-determination: Students have the right to make their own decisions regarding their affairs and participate in resolving their problems.
  • Confidentiality: All information and data provided to the Administration are kept strictly confidential and are used only for the purposes for which they were provided.
  • Professional relationship: A professional relationship is maintained between specialists and students, ensuring that specialists adhere to the above principles.
  • Participation in Activities: Students wishing to participate in an activity must register for their chosen activity by completing the University Activity Form at the beginning of the academic year.

Student Activities

  • Students interested in participating in student activities should register at the Student Welfare Office and the Faculty Students’ Union.

  • Participation in student activities contributes to personal development and helps students acquire valuable practical skills and experience

External Meal Services

  1. Meal vouchers can be reserved through the Student Welfare Office. Each package consists of six meal vouchers, covering the days of the academic week, at a total cost of EGP 25 only.

  2. Meal vouchers are not issued during official public holidays.

  3. Meal vouchers are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, upon presentation of the Faculty ID card, and within the number of vouchers allocated to the Faculty.

Social Solidarity Fund

The Social Solidarity Fund aims to provide various forms of social support to students, including social assistance and financial loans.It also works to address problems that may prevent students from continuing their studies due to financial difficulties, and contributes to providing and implementing various services for students.
